Shout Out Post WWII Vet

This is a story about a man that we will call Rick Smith. He is a 95-year-old army veteran of World War Two. Rick was a tank driver during his time of active duty and received a purple heart following an injury involving explosives which left shrapnel in his head. He built a cabin in Palisades and spent many years there when he was younger. He grew up in Virginia Idaho and then moved to Pocatello. This is where he married and remains today.

He lives with his lovely wife who is 91 years old and their little dog that they adore dearly. Our Caring Hearts loving staff visits with them three times a week to help them with some bathing assistance for Mr. Smith and some housekeeping and shopping assistance for Mrs. Smith.

At Caring Hearts, we provide services for the elderly like this very deserving war veteran, so they can embrace their golden years. We want to make sure they get to enjoy their lives every day and enjoy the freedom of living independently.  We have a wide variety of services to offer, and if you or a loved one needs some assistance let Caring Hearts be of service to you.  We want to honor Rick for his acts of service to us in keeping us safe.  Please join us in saying thank you to Rick and other Caring Hearts customers who have serviced so many over the years.
